Because the IPHC is not a trading organisation, and we need to minimise bank charges for currency conversions, we must charge for books in Norwegian Kroner unless special arrangements are made.  Payments in NOK can be easily made by transfers to our bank.

Publication number XVIII in the ICOMOS series “Monuments and Sites".

“HISTORICAL POLAR BASES - PRESERVATION AND MANAGEMENT”  is a compilation of 13 presentations made to the IPHC conference held in Barrow, Alaska in September 2007.  This conference was an official event celebrating the International polar Year (IPY). Contributors are members and associates of the International Polar Heritage Committee who gave presentations on a variety of subjects related to their own areas of expertise. The publication has been compiled and edited by IPHC President Susan Barr and Secretary General Paul Chaplin.

Consisting of 96 pages this is the second such publcation to be produced by the IPHC.  It is published in full colour and includes a large number of spectacular photos.
